Please check with your local coucil on how to dispose of your fridges and freezers.

Recycling e-waste conserves natural resources by recovering material from obsolete electronics that can be used to make new products.

It is possible to concentrate, extract and combine natural elements found in e-waste into new and unique elements such as aluminum, copper, plastics, mercury and acids. These resources when used efficiently prevent them from spoiling the environment.

Protect your surroundings by recycling e-waste

Secure recycling of out-dated electronics promotes sound management of hazardous chemicals such as mercury, lead and cadmium. If sent to a local landfill, TV’s, computers, and batteries contain dangerous chemicals that may leach through the ground and pollute the groundwater. This can be a health hazard as it can contaminate everything from soil in which food is grown, to the water you drink.

Help others by recycling e-waste

Help your community by donating your used electronics to WeeeCharity for recycling. We will refurbish and repair such items where possible to be resold back in to the community. This will create a trust fund for other community groups and charities to access.

Economic benefits of recycling e-waste
