What can we tell you about us?

WeeeCharity began in 2016 in a spare room in a church. Since then WeeeCharity has expanded to have its own premises Employing 6 staff members and over 10 fully trained, full time volunteers and offering work placements to various colleges and organisations. At the beginning of 2017 we opened a retail shop and repair Centre which was incorporated into our new premises.

WeeeCharity is a fully licensed, registered charity with the Environment Agency. WeeeCharity deal in the collection and donations of electrical and electronic items, that we reuse, recycle or resell back in to the community.

Money made from this is donated back into the local community to fund future projects, events and fundraising, all to help relieve poverty.

We have links with Warrington Job Centre and Warrington Voluntary Action that provide us with volunteers. These volunteers are usually unemployed or faced with a disability or hardship, and find it a struggle to get employment. WeeeCharity give them Sector Based Work Placements on 8 week contracts, to give them the skills and knowledge to give them the experience to gain paid employment. We also have links with Warrington Collegiate and provide work experience for their students.

We currently cover the whole of the mainland UK, using our own vehicles and drivers. We collect all manner of electronic and electrical items, with no minimum quantity.

Our aim is provide a simplistic way to collect and/or remove our client’s electronic and electrical items, giving them peace of mind that their redundant equipment will go to good use. WeeeCharity currently have over 400 regular clients and are fast expanding.

We Are Disability Confident!

“One of the best recycling services we've come across is called WeeeCharity. This charity will collect your old computing equipment free of charge from your home. It will also offer to wipe your data securely, free of charge. WeeeCharity donates refurbished computers to those in need, or else disposes of them in an environmentally responsible manner.” – Which?
